Nitronic 60 Sheet (UNS S21800) - Anti-Galling Stainless Sheet
Nitronic 60 sheet (UNS S21800) per ASTM A240 / A480 in 2B mill, 2D mill, polished, and No.4 brushed surface finishes. Captures T1#31 'nitronic 60 sheet' (50 vol, KD=7 - low keyword difficulty, easy rank target). Used in fabricated assemblies, food-processing tank liners, and chemical-process vessels where anti-galling at the bolted-attachment interface matters.

Nitronic 60 Sheet Specifications
Cold-rolled and hot-rolled sheet across the full thickness and surface-finish range.
- Size range: Thickness 0.5 mm through 6 mm (0.020 inch through 1/4 inch); coil width up to 1500 mm (60 inch).
- Standards: ASTM A240 / A480 / ASME SA-240.
- Surface finishes: 2B mill (cold-rolled, annealed, pickled), 2D mill (cold-rolled, annealed, pickled, dull), No.4 brushed, polished mirror.
- Conditions: solution-annealed (S-A) standard, 1/4-hard cold-rolled available for higher yield.
- Sheet vs plate cutoff: typically 6 mm (1/4 inch); above that see plate.
- Sheet vs strip: strip is cold-rolled to specific width-to-length ratio for fabrication; sheet is cut from coil.

Can sheet be supplied in cold-worked HS condition?
Yes. Solution-annealed (S-A) is standard. Cold-worked HS condition reaches 620 MPa yield and 30 HRC maximum hardness; specify on order.
What surface finishes are available?
Mill / pickled-passivated standard per ASTM A380. Polished, 2B mill, and 2D mill finishes available on request. Sanitary-finish (Ra 0.4 to 0.8 um) for food-processing service.
What certification ships with sheet?
EN 10204 3.1 mill test certification by default. EN 10204 3.2 dual-witnessed third-party (Lloyds, TUV, DNV, BV) on request.
